Dum Aloo with Lentils

Recipe – Dum Aloo: Potatoes in Red Chilies – Sesame Sauce


Substitutions & Additions: I added 1 1/2 cups of lentils for extra protein. I would recommend using less salt (1/4 to 1/2 tsp instead). Use a mortar and pestle to make the garlic, chilies, cumin, salt and turmeric into a paste. I ran out of sesame seeds so I used 1tbsp seeds & 1tbsp sesame oil. A dollop of greek yogurt served on top.

This was a mildly spicy dish and it only took 30 minutes to prepare and cook. Served with PC Whole Grain Tandoori Roti.
